Is there a need to backup those files before attempting repairing those bad blocks? If yes, then have a solid plan that will maximize chances of success in doing so. So, the idea here is to "repair the drive" in a way where these bad blocks are reallocated to spare areas on the drive. The errors occur as result of degradation of logical blocks data has been written to. These type of errors cannot be fixed per se.
